Before finalising your celebration plans at Partyhouse Studios

We kindly ask that you read and understand our Terms and Conditions.
By proceeding with your booking, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

Booking Party

“You” (the person making the booking) are the Hirer.
Your booking is accepted on the basis that you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Booking & Payments

• A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your party date and time.
• Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
• All deposits and payments are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances (including illness, change of mind, weather, or personal reasons).
• The remaining balance must be paid on the day of the event, preferably before the party begins.
• A cash discount applies where stated.

2. Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change.

• You may reschedule once only with at least 30 days’ notice.
• Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be rebooked within 3 months.
• With less than 30 days’ notice, bookings are not eligible for reschedule or credit.

3. Security Bond

• A $500 refundable bond (cash or card) is required for all room hire bookings.
• The bond will be returned on the same day, provided:
  • No damage has occurred to the venue, furniture, technology, or equipment
  • No excessive cleaning is required

Any damage or excessive mess will be deducted from the bond or invoiced if costs exceed $500.

4. Supervision & Safety

• Parents and carers are responsible for supervising the behaviour and safety of all children.
• While Partyhouse Studios staff will run activities, a responsible adult must remain onsite at all times.
• For venue-hire events, a staff member will be present in the disco room at all times to supervise equipment use.
• To ensure everyone is comfortable and the kids have plenty of space to enjoy the party, we allow one parent/guardian per child to stay during the event. If you are expecting additional adults, please chat with us in advance so we can see what's possible.

5. Venue Hire Policies

• Maximum capacity: 50 people total (adults + children).
• Maximum children permitted: 30.
• Guests may arrive up to 15 minutes early.
• Decorations are welcome but must be removed immediately after the party.
  • Partyhouse Studios is not responsible for decorations left behind.
• Damage to walls, mirrors, lights, or props will incur repair charges.

6. Food, Cleaning & Use of Space

• Food is included only for the room/package booked.
• Additional rooms or areas require separate hire.
• Standard cleaning is included; however:
  • Excessive cleaning (e.g., food spills, glitter, slime misuse) may incur additional fees.

7. Photography & Media

• We may take photos or short videos during events for marketing purposes.
• If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify us before the party.

8. Late Arrivals

• All parties finish at the scheduled time.
• Extensions cannot be offered due to back-to-back bookings.

9. Agreement

By booking and paying a deposit, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

10. Additional Information

No-Shows / Last-Minute Cancellations

All payments are forfeited.

Public Holiday Surcharge
Please note that bookings scheduled on public holidays will incur an additional surcharge due to increased staffing and operational costs. This surcharge will be clearly outlined at the time of booking and is non-negotiable.

Confetti, Piñata & Cleaning Policy

For the comfort of all guests and to maintain our venue standards, confetti, glitter, and any items containing loose particles are strictly not permitted within Partyhouse Studios. This includes (but is not limited to) confetti cannons, party poppers, glitter decorations, and piñatas filled with confetti or small loose items.

If excessive mess is left behind after the event—particularly due to prohibited items such as confetti, glitter, piñatas, or similar materials—a cleaning fee of $150 per room will be applied. This fee will be charged to the booking holder.

Socks

All guests must wear socks for spa or disco activities.

COVID-19 Policy

If government restrictions impact your event, we offer postponement (no refunds).

Hirer’s Responsibility

You are responsible for the safety, supervision, and behaviour of all children and guests.

Allergies

• The Hirer must manage any child allergies.
• Parents of children with serious allergies must remain onsite.
• Staff cannot administer medical treatments (including EpiPens).

Damages & Lost Property

• Partyhouse Studios is not liable for personal or merchandise loss or damage.
• Hirer is responsible for any property damage during the event.
• Lost property is kept for 7 days.

Catering Policy

• Partyhouse Studios provides all food and drinks.
• External cakes and party bags are allowed if nut-free and from a commercial kitchen.

Cakeage Fee

A $20 cakeage fee applies when bringing your own cake.

Gifts & Presents

Hirer must collect all gifts. We are not responsible for items left behind.

Arrival & Departure

• Guests may arrive up to 10 minutes early.
• Early entry beyond this may incur charges.
• Please vacate promptly at the end of your session to avoid additional fees.

Smoking & Alcohol

• Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises.
• BYO Champagne is allowed only for approved adult evening functions and may incur a service fee.

Photo Policy (Detailed)

By attending an event, you consent to photography and videography for marketing unless you notify us in writing beforehand.

Unforeseen Circumstances

Partyhouse Studios may cancel an event due to circumstances beyond our control (weather damage, fire, electrical issues).
In such cases, no compensation is provided.
